St. Dunstan's resides within the Boeing Creek watershed, named for our very own local industrialist, William Boeing. Recently Boeing Creek and Shoreview Park have seen significant restoration work in the form of dam removal and planting native species. Aside from a mere walk in the park, what might it look like to connect with the waters that gather and flow nearby? As people of faith, what opportunities for healing might emerge when we become familiar with our local waters and their histories?
